Ham Holiday Review

As far as *I* was concerned, Ham Holiday this year was a great event!
The venue was Excellent, the A/C worked, and I got to have eyeball QSOs with MANY folks who I had not seen in a very long time.
Thank YOU to all those who helped to make this years event a success!

Next year’s event is already scheduled for July 24th and 25th.

Vacancy Announcements

Lucky, KG6MXA, sends the following vacancy announcement:

Can you please run an announcement in the newsletter that the Gossip Net needs some more hosts?  Keith, KZ8H, is moving away and that just leaves me and Denny WA6DKD.  We could really use some more help!  It’s an easy and fun net to run.

Thanks and 73,
Lucky KG6MXA

And Phil, KD5UGO, is looking for an ARES Net Control Operator. Phil’s words:

Not only do we need someone to replace a Net Control Operator for the Tuesday night net, this person also needs to be able to step into a Net Control position in case of Severe Weather, or any other Emergency that would require an ARES Net to be held. “Calm”, “Cool”, and at times “Commanding” are the requirements.

Contact Phil for more information.
